This privacy policy explains how Falla AI (the “App”), developed by Etlik Bilişim, collects, uses and protects the personal data of its users. Etlik Bilişim is the data controller for your personal data. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

Account information: email address, name, date of birth and the zodiac sign derived from it, gender, and your language preference; optionally, your relationship status and occupation. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the name and email address that service shares with us; with Apple you can choose to hide your email, in which case Apple’s relay address is used. Your password stays with that service; we never see it.
Rising sign information (optional): if you calculate your rising sign, your time of birth, your place of birth (the city you pick from the list) and the resulting rising sign. The calculation happens on your device; this information is stored with your account, is not sent to the reading services and is deleted when your account is deleted. Details you enter to calculate someone else’s rising sign are not saved and never leave your device.
Photos: the photos of your coffee cup and saucer that you upload for a reading. Photos that do not show a cup or saucer are rejected before a reading is created and are not stored.
Reading content: the question you enter as a Premium member, the readings created for you and the feedback you give.
Moon Circle (optional): the short intention you leave in the Moon Circle and the category you pick; the support you give to other intentions, your reports, the intentions you hide and the authors you block; the date you accepted the circle rules.
Purchase information: the product you bought, the purchase date and your subscription status. We never see your card or payment details; payment is taken by the store you downloaded the App from (Google Play or the App Store).
Technical data: device type, operating system, app version, push notification ID, advertising ID (on iOS, only if you allow it) and crash reports created when the App crashes.
Usage data: in-app interactions such as which screens are opened, sending a reading, sharing, listening to a reading and daily check-ins. This data is linked to your account ID; your name, email address and reading texts are not added to it.

2. How We Use Your Data

To process the photos you upload and give you a reading.
To check whether photos are suitable for a reading (whether they show a cup or saucer).
To personalize readings based on your name, sign, age and preferences.
To check readings and questions automatically, without human involvement, for content that breaks community rules or is harmful, and for quality.
To show your Moon Circle intention to other users anonymously, without your name, photo or profile; to review reports, remove intentions that break the rules and prevent abuse.
To send daily horoscope and informational notifications.
To manage in-app purchases, subscriptions and reading credits.
To show ads (to free users).
To find and fix errors and improve the App.

We process your data on the following legal bases under Article 5 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): performance of our contract with you, to provide your account, readings and purchases and to show the intention you choose to share in the Moon Circle; compliance with a legal obligation, to keep purchase records; our legitimate interests, for error detection, usage analysis, automated content checks, reviewing reports, moderation and security; and your consent, for personalized ads and the use of your advertising ID.

Your personal data is shared only for the purposes above, and only as far as the service requires, with the following groups of service providers:

Cloud infrastructure and server services — storing account, reading and photo data, authentication, processing requests and sending notifications.
Sign-in services — if you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, verifying your sign-in through that service.
Reading services (third-party AI services) — your photos, to create your reading and to check whether they show a cup or saucer; and your first name, sign, birth year, gender, your relationship status and occupation if you shared them, language preference, your question as a Premium member, and a short summary of your previous reading from the last 90 days, to personalize the reading. In the iOS app, this data is sent only after you give permission before your first reading.
Content check services — the reading text (which may include your name), your question as a Premium member and the intention you leave in the Moon Circle are checked automatically, without human involvement, for inappropriate content and quality. Your photos and email address are not sent to these services.
Voice services — when you use “Hear Your Reader” as a Premium member, a short spoken version of your reading (which may include your name) is sent to be turned into audio. The recording is stored so that only you can access it, and it is deleted together with your account.
Analytics and crash reporting services — usage data and crash reports, together with your account ID.
Payment and subscription services — your account ID and purchase records, to manage purchases and subscription status.
Advertising services — your advertising ID, to show ads to free users. On iOS, the advertising ID is used only if you allow tracking. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown; you can change your choice in Profile › Ad Privacy Choices.

4. International Transfers

The servers of the service providers listed above are mostly located outside Turkey (mainly in the United States). Your personal data is transferred to these providers only for the purposes described in this policy, in accordance with Article 9 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and based on the explicit consent you give at sign-up. 5. Data Retention and Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

Your reading photos are not public; they are stored so that only you can access them, and other users cannot see them. The results of automated content checks are stored without the reading text.

Moon Circle: Your intention is shown to other users only as its text and category; no user is ever shown who wrote it, who supported it or who reported it. Only the owner of an intention sees how many people supported it. Which account an intention belongs to is kept only on our server and only to enforce one intention per cycle, to stop people from supporting their own intention, for blocking, and to take action against accounts that break the rules. Rejected intentions are not stored; our server logs may record that an account’s intention was rejected and why, without the text. Your intention becomes visible only after it passes the automated content check. When you release your star, your intention disappears at once and its text is deleted. Even if you don’t, your intentions, your support records and your hide lists are deleted at the next New Moon, and the intention text and the reporter’s identity are removed from report records. For reviewing reports, the intention text is kept in the report record at most until the end of that cycle. A record of moderation decisions (the decision, its date and reason, without the intention text or any user ID) and time-limited restrictions placed on accounts that broke the rules are kept so that decisions can be audited. The list of authors you blocked and your acceptance of the rules are kept until your account is deleted. When you delete your account, your intentions, your support records, your hide and block lists, your acceptance of the rules and any restriction are deleted; your identity is removed from the reports you made, and the text of your intention is removed from reports about it. Intention text is never written to our server logs. We do not keep regular backups of our database; a deleted record technically remains in our infrastructure provider’s version history for at most one hour and is then permanently removed through that provider’s own deletion processes.

Your data is kept until your account is deleted. You can delete your account at any time in the App (Profile › “Delete my account”, below “Privacy Policy”) or on our account deletion page (https://www.etlikbilisim.com/fallaai/account-deletion/). Your deletion request becomes final after 7 days; if you sign in again during that time, the request is cancelled and you can keep using your account. Your purchase records are kept for 5 years after your account is deleted, as required by law, and are deleted automatically at the end of that period.

6. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about it if it is; to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose; to know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom your data is transferred; to ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected, and for your data to be deleted or destroyed; and to object to processing. You can send your requests to the email address below.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to restrict the processing of your data, to receive your data in a portable format, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. For Entertainment Only

Falla AI is for entertainment only. Coffee readings and horoscopes are created automatically, have no scientific basis and are not a substitute for professional advice on health, finance, law or similar matters.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will let you know about significant changes in the App or on this page.
