Falla AI – Explicit Consent Text

This text explains the personal data processing in the Falla AI app (the “App”) that is based on your explicit consent under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). To prepare your fortune reading, which is the App’s core service, the following personal data is transferred to and processed by our service providers whose servers are located outside Turkey (mainly in the United States):

  • Fortune generation services (third-party AI services): the coffee cup and saucer photos you upload; to personalise the reading, your first name, zodiac sign, birth year, gender, your relationship status and occupation if you shared them, language preference, your intention text with Premium, and a short summary of your previous reading from the last 90 days.
  • Content moderation services: the generated reading (which may contain your name) and, with Premium, your intention text, for automatic checks of inappropriate content and quality.
  • Voice services: with Premium, when you use “Hear Your Reader”, the short narration text of your reading.
  • Cloud infrastructure and server services: storing your account, reading and photo data and processing requests.

These transfers rely on your explicit consent under Article 9 of KVKK and are made only for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy and only as far as the service requires. Your photos and readings are not used for advertising and are not shared with other users.

Your explicit consent is requested at sign-up because a reading cannot be prepared without the transfers above. If you do not give it, you cannot sign up to the App or use the reading service.

You can withdraw your explicit consent at any time by writing to [email protected] or by deleting your account in the App (Profile › Delete my account). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it; after withdrawal the reading service can no longer be provided.

4. Confirmation

By ticking “I have read and agree to the Explicit Consent Text.” in the App, you give your explicit consent to the processing and international transfers described above. The date of your consent and the version of the text you accepted are recorded with your account.
